At Stoney Mountain Baptist Church our nursery ministers to infants and toddlers ages newborn to 3. Loving caregivers provide a clean and safe environment where children can feel God's love through song, coloring and play. The nursery allows parents to have a peace of mind while in the services that their entire family is being ministered to while at Stoney Mountain. The nursery is staffed for Sunday morning Sunday school and service and Wednesday evenings.

At Stoney Mountain Baptist Church, we don't just believe that our children are the hope of the future, but they are the hope of today. We strive to teach practically from the Bible, to help each child grow in Christ. We have various programs that we do on a regular basis to help facilitate this environment of growth in their lives. Our goal is to create a fun and safe environment for our teens to grow in their walk with Christ. We aim to provide many growth opportunities for our teens on a regular basis throughout the year. The adult ministry of Stoney Mountain is designed to disciple the believer to grow each day in their personal walk with Christ. Whether you are a young adult who is in college trying to make the right decisions on a spouse or career path or a young married couple with small children desiring to raise your children for the glory of God. Maybe you are a Senior Saint who desires to finish your course and hear well done. We understand that we cannot cause growth, but we can certainly create a climate in which growth can take place.

The great commision and the primary responsibility of the church is to go unto all the world and preach the gospel. Missions allows us to partner with missionaries around the world to reach the over 8 billion people that Jesus Christ gave his life for. Missions is not just an important part of Stoney Mountain, it is our DNA.

We believe we are called to “be” witnesses of Jesus Christ not to “do” witnessing. The church is the body of Christ and we are to be actively fulfilling His purpose here. To seek and save that which was lost and disciple the believers. 

Sunday school classes for all ages. This is what some churches call small groups or connect groups. It is an opportunity to meet with a group of believers who are in the same stage of life as you.
