Beyond The Game

More Than A Game

Beyond The Game is a free sports program provided to teenage young men by the Stoney Mountain Baptist Church of Hendersonville, NC, and was started with the vision to have a fun, yet Christ-centered environment where teens can play a variety of different sports throughout the year. While fun is important, especially when it comes to sports, our desire is to achieve far more than just fun. Our desire is to help young men come to know Christ personally and experience the love, joy, and peace that only Jesus can give. Every Saturday before we jump into action we give a short message from the Bible to teach these young men about the greatest gift ever -- Salvation. We teach them Godly character both on and off the court. We challenge them weekly to improve personally and to grow closer to God. We challenge them to attend church faithfully. AND we pray for them. It is our desire to see these young men become successful not just in careers, and other aspects of this life, but to be successful by God's standards. We would love the opportunity to partner with you to help your young men be the best version of themselves.
