Romans 3:10 "As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one."
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
No one is perfect, except Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:12 "Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
One man = the first man, Adam.
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Ezekiel 18:20 "The soul that sinneth, it shall die...."
Revelation 20:14 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."
The words second death in this verse means "Eternal Punishment."
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Like He promised, Jesus was in the tomb and was resurrected on the third day.
I Corinthians 15:4 "And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
There are no special words or specific prayer that can save you. Salvation comes by placing your faith in Jesus Christ and trusting Him alone as your Saviour.
If you understand that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ died on the cross, shed His blood, and rose again for you, you can call upon Him in faith. Talk to Him from your heart. Admit to God that you are a sinner, acknowledge that you cannot save yourself, and tell Him that you are trusting Jesus Christ alone to forgive your sins and save you.
Your prayer does not have to sound a certain way or contain certain words. What matters is that you are sincerely placing your faith in Christ and depending on what He has done for you—not on a prayer, good works, baptism, church membership, or anything you can do yourself.
The prayer does not save you. Jesus saves you when you place your faith and trust in Him.
John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
Mark 8:36 "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
Romans 6:23 "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Matthew 10:32 "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven."
Acts 2:41 "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls."
