Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions. Where do I go? What should I wear? Where do my kids go? What should I expect?

We want your first visit to Stoney Mountain Baptist Church to be simple and enjoyable. Here's everything you need to know before you arrive.

• Wednesday Evening Kids BLAST: 6:30 PM

What Should I Wear?

There's no need to worry about having the "right" clothes to visit Stoney Mountain.

You'll find people dressed in everything from suits and dresses to business casual and more casual clothing. We simply want you to feel welcome and comfortable joining us for worship.

Come as you are—we'll be glad you're here.

What Is a Service Like?

Our services are centered around worshiping God and the preaching of His Word.

When you visit, you can expect congregational singing (traditional Hymns), special music, prayer, and clear Bible preaching.

A typical Sunday morning service lasts approximately 1 hour.

As our guest, you won't be singled out or embarrassed. We simply want you to feel welcome and be able to worship with us.

What About My Children?

Your children are important to us, and we want your entire family to have a great experience at Stoney Mountain.

Nursery

Available for children ages 0–3. Our greeters will show you where the nursery is located upon arrival.

Children's and Teens Ministries

On Sunday mornings we have Sunday School classes for Children and Teens at 10 AM. These classes are designed to help children and teens grow in their knowledge of God's Word and develop strong Christian character.

Our Wednesday night Kids Blast and TNT (Teens-N-Truth) Programs start at 6:30 PM. They will get to play games, sing fun songs, learn memory verses, and hear a message from the Word of God directed specifically to each age group. These programs are held in the bottom level of our Sunday School wing.

Don't worry about knowing your way around before you arrive.

Come on inside, and you'll find members of our welcome team at each entrance ready to help you in any way we can.

Will I Be Asked to Give Money?

Giving is an opportunity for our church family to worship through supporting the Lord's work. As our guest, please don't feel any pressure or obligation to give. We're simply glad you've chosen to worship with us.
